Cookie Policy

1. What Is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser by the websites you visit. Browser storage (localStorage) may likewise be used to keep your site preferences on your device.

2. What We Use on Our Site

The Vouves Logistics website does not use advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. There is no analytics tool, marketing pixel or social media tracking code. What is used is limited to the following:

• Language preference (strictly necessary / functional): the site language you select is stored under the key vouves-lang in your browser's localStorage so that it is remembered on your next visit. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to our servers and is not subject to consent.
• Your cookie choice (strictly necessary / functional): the answer you give to the consent box described in section 3 below is stored in your browser's localStorage so that the same question is not asked on every visit.
• Google Maps (third party, subject to consent): when the embedded map on the contact page loads, cookies are placed by Google. These cookies are managed by Google and are not under the Company's control.

3. Your Consent and Your Right to Decline

On your first visit you will see a consent box in the bottom right corner of the screen. The Decline option is exactly as visible as Accept; no design that makes declining harder is used.

• If you decline: the embedded Google Map on the contact page is not loaded at all. A link that opens the map on Google is shown instead. No other function of the site is affected.
• If you accept: only the embedded map is loaded. No other tracking code is activated.

Your decision is stored only on your device; it is not sent to our servers.

4. Changing Your Decision

When you clear the site data (cookies and localStorage) in your browser settings, the consent box appears again and you can make your choice anew. If you delete the language preference data, the site returns to the default language (Turkish); no other function is affected.

5. What Is Kept on the Server

Although these are not cookies, we state them for transparency: when you submit the contact and quotation forms, your IP address is recorded for the rate limiting that prevents abuse. This is not a cookie, nothing is written to your browser and it is not used for advertising. For details, see the Privacy Notice (KVKK) page.
